About Us
Who we are:
Our board is comprised of representatives from each state, including U.S. apple growers and shippers, as well as state marketing board representatives.
What we do:
-
· Support U.S. grown apples in foreign markets via promotions funded through U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) grant-funded promotions.
-
· Identify new market opportunities for USAEC exports.
-
· Develop promotional programs for each target market and manage in-country representatives.
How we achieve our goals:
International Programs:
USAEC conducts promotional programs in markets around the world- Brazil, Canada, Central America, India, Israel, Mexico, South America, Southeast Asia, and Western Europe. USAEC constantly looks for new opportunities to expand market reach and exports for USAEC growers and shippers.
Promotions and Activities:
USAEC utilizes USDA grant funding to conduct its international promotional programs. USAEC develops unique programs for each of its target markets, to ensure the maximum impact and efficacy. Promotional programs include the production of POS materials, development of new U.S. apple recipes, retail sampling events, trade missions, and more.
Trade Shows:
USAEC attends several international trade shows each year, to meet with industry members and explore additional overseas opportunities.
